Certificate in Culinary Arts (Western Cuisine)
This program reviews the duties of a kitchen professional, range of kitchen operations and food production techniques, and the relationship between quality, cuisine style, presentation and cost control.
Certificate in Food and Beverage Service Operation
This program equips learners with the necessary core competencies that will enable them to excel as service providers in a Food and Beverage environment that serves Western cuisine.
Certificate in Front Office Operation
This program equips learners with core competencies and strategic understanding of the special role of Front Office in ensuring a guest’s delightful experience. They will also be honed on basics special skills in the context of Shangri-La operations.
Certificate in Housekeeping Operation
This program equips learners with core competencies and strategic understanding of the special role of Housekeeping in ensuring quality standards in hotel operations. They will also be honed on basics special skills in the context of Shangri-La operations.

Upon completion of this program, the learners will be able to do the following:

This program equips learners to develop a sound overview and critical understanding of the inter-departmental workings of an efficient and effective hotel in the smooth running of the hotel property and in earning a profit.
